The design features a shallow, oval-shaped divot in the center of the slip grip with a subtle slope that provides maximum grip while allowing for a smooth, consistent release during launch. The wide oval shape accommodates players who pull in different directions, making it comfortable across a variety of launch styles.

At the rear of the divot, two small raised ridges act as speed bumps to help prevent the fingers from slipping prematurely. This allows players to maintain contact with the slip grip for as long as possible, maximizing power before the grip releases.
