MeteorDragoon is a left-spin Attack Type Blade with three differently-shaped blades acting as the main contact points. MeteorDragoon is the second left-spin Blade in the toyline, and the second "Dragoon" Blade, following its predecessor CobaltDragoon. Its three blades have different shapes, with the dragon head featuring a large rubber protrusion as its jaw. Like its predecessor ImpactDrake, MeteorDragoon is part of the Unique Line and has rubber Launcher Hooks instead of metal ones, which increase Outward Weight Distribution (OWD). In addition, it features an Unique Line gimmick: the Blade combines consecutive attacks using the rubber to absorb spin, and delivers a powerful "One Hit Kill" (一撃必殺, Ichigeki Hissatsu) attack with the large rubber protrusion.

Like its predecessors in the "Drake" and "Dragoon" lines, MeteorDragoon is the Dragoon Beyblades from Bakuten Shoot Beyblade. The Gear Chip features the side profile of the Blue Dragon (Seiryū), one of the Four Auspicious Beasts from Chinese mythology. The Bakuten Shoot Beyblade logo is located on the neck, as with previous Gear Chip designs in the line. In addition, it features design cues from Beyblades from Metal Fight Beyblade, in this case being the L-Drago line of Beyblades, as well as Ronin Dragoon LW160BSF. The Gear Chip has a diamond/hexagonal shape in the background that referencing "Face" parts from the Metal Fight Beyblade toyline.
